COVID-19: Latest update on our service

The Harbour staff outside the Harbour office

Latest update on our service

As an organisation we have been working hard to adapt to the changing times we find ourselves in. The Harbour’s senior management team and board of trustees have been monitoring the situation regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) on an ongoing basis, continually ensuring that clients and our staff are at the heart of any decisions we make.

At The Harbour many of our clients have immune systems that are compromised. At this time of heightened risk and in light of the new coronavirus social distancing guidance, we have now made the transition from offering face to face client appointments to sessions over the telephone and online, via Zoom.

We understand that this might be a very uncertain time for clients who may already be struggling. Our priority is to provide them with a continuation of their therapy sessions in a safe environment.

If you are currently having sessions with us or are due to have an assessment appointment, your therapist or one of our team will have made contact to speak with you about continuing over telephone or online. If you have any concerns or need to cancel your session/s, please contact us on 0117 925 9348 or email us at

Our premises will be closed from Friday 20th March. We have been putting into place systems that will allow all staff to work from home from this date. We are facing these changes with thought and care to keep providing our service to anyone facing death, dying and bereavement.

Thank you to all our clients for bearing with us.
