Partner with The Harbour and make a difference
Our unique counselling services provide a safe and compassionate space for individuals, couples, and families to navigate their most difficult moments.
By partnering with us, your company can make a profound impact on those facing life-threatening illness or the loss of a loved one. Whether through sponsorship, employee fundraising, or direct donations, you can help us continue to provide vital support free of charge to those who need it most.

Why partner with The Harbour?
In the past year we’ve delivered over 1,500 counselling sessions and assessments, 90% of which were heavily subsidised or free.
Create tangible impact
Your partnership will directly support our counselling services, allowing us to expand our reach to disadvantaged areas of Bristol and offer free or subsidised support to those who need it most.
Engage your team
Involve your employees in a cause that fosters compassion and community. We offer opportunities for team engagement through volunteering, fundraising events, and awareness campaigns, creating a meaningful connection between your company and our mission.
Strengthen your corporate social responsibility
Align your business with a charity committed to improving mental health and emotional wellbeing in your community. Together, we can reduce the emotional toll of illness and loss on families and individuals.
How you can help
Charity of the year
Ensuring people in our local communities have the support they need to live through terminal illness and the loss of a loved one
Employee Fundraising
Encourage your team to get involved with charity runs, bake sales, or workplace challenges. We can provide materials and support to make your fundraising efforts a success.
Donate as a company
Make a donation on behalf of your organisation. Your valued contribution will help us provide our therapy sessions to those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access the help they need.

A huge ‘Thank You’ to Barratt Homes Bristol
Staff at Barratt Homes Bristol chose The Harbour as their 2024/25 charity of the year. They raised over £10,000 for us and got people talking more openly about grief. They are helping to break the silence around death and raising awareness of how The Harbour can help the Bristol community.
Roxanne Lippiatt, Marketing Manager, says “It struck me that death is a part of everyone’s journey, and yet however close and collaborative we are in the day to day at work, when it comes to death we don’t know what to say. This partnership has helped us start talking.”
No matter how open or supportive a workplace feels, conversations about death are often left unsaid. This partnership has helped change that. When people start talking about The Harbour, they begin to talk more openly about grief – and realise that many others around them have experienced loss too.
The real difference we make

You have helped me find a path forward in my life, which felt totally impossible only a few months ago.

I understand it is not just the person diagnosed with cancer suffering it also has a tsunami affect on the family members too. The space allows me to express my darkest fears, which alleviates much of the weight, pain and my reluctance to look at death. I can’t imagine what I would do without the sessions.

I feel that I may have just got what is left of my life back. Many, many thanks. My counsellor was brilliant, really helped me work through stuff.
