We currently do not have any training placements .

The Harbour offers a 2-year training placement for a committed and compassionate trainee counsellor or psychotherapist with an interest in death, dying, and bereavement. Join our friendly and dynamic clinical team providing affordable, in-depth time limited therapy from a psychodynamic and relationship-based perspective.

We welcome applications from trainees:
Studying at Level 4/5 or above, on a course accredited by BACP, UKCP or BPC
With training that includes a CORE psychodynamic component
Who are in weekly personal therapy
Able to see up to 3 clients per week
Available for weekly team/complex case discussions (Tuesdays at 11am for 1 hour)
Committed to a 2-year placement
 
The placement includes fortnightly group supervision, regular line management, and opportunities to connect with fellow trainees.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview and also asked to present a case study lasting no more than 5 minutes, demonstrating their understanding of the psychodynamic process.
